3. Account Registration

To publish components, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete registration information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access

4. Publisher Responsibilities

When publishing components to the registry, you agree to:

  • Ownership: You have the right to publish the component and grant the licenses described herein.
  • Accountability: Your identity will be cryptographically associated with published components as the responsible party.
  • No Malware: Components must not contain malicious code, backdoors, or functionality designed to harm users.
  • Accurate Metadata: Component descriptions, versions, and capabilities must be accurate and not misleading.
  • License Compliance: You must comply with all applicable open-source licenses for dependencies.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to circumvent security measures or sandbox restrictions
  • Upload components that violate intellectual property rights
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
  • Harvest or collect user data without consent
  • Impersonate another person or entity

6. Component Licensing

Components published to the registry may have their own licenses specified by publishers. By downloading a component, you agree to comply with its stated license. mcpsearchtool.com does not claim ownership of components published by users.

7. Subscriptions and Payments

Certain features require a paid subscription:

  • Subscription fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis
  • Payments are processed securely through Stripe
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period
  • Refunds are provided at our discretion
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, and documentation, is owned by mcpsearchtool.com and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our proprietary materials without permission.

9. Content Removal

We reserve the right to remove any component or content that:

  • The Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
  • Components published by third parties are free of bugs or vulnerabilities
  • The Service will meet your specific requirements

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MCPSEARCHTOOL.COM SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
